Luxurious Villa in Tuscany

If you are looking for a luxurious villa that is completely natural, offering the warmth of a home and a discreet, family hospitality that's attentive to every detail, then this Villa just outside Montepulciano is the place to be.

Surrounded by forests, vineyards and the famous Tuscan rolling hills, this villa is nested within nature and has hardly any buildings within sight. On the other hand, Montepulciano, Chianciano and Monticchiello are only a few minutes drive away, Siena is 60 km and Florence 120 km away, making this villa the perfect pivot point for your vacation in Tuscany.

The owners of this villa are of the warmest and most serene hosts I have met. Their house is only some 200 meters away from the villa, making them available for you any time you may need them without restricting your privacy. You, or your children, may join in on their activities like wine production, olive harvest or many other agricultural works.

The owners also offer to prepare lovely meals for you (on request & additional charge) to discover the traditional flavours by selecting the best products at their place of origin: Pecorino cheese of Pienza, Chianina beef, cured meats of the Cinta Senese, homemade pisci, fresh garden vegetables and, naturally, their own olive oil and own wine.

The Villa is 400 sq m and is the ideal place to rent by the week for groups of up to 12 guests (plus children up to 12 years of age). Whether you are a family, an extended family group or a group of friends, everyone will have their privacy as each suite has a separate entrance and its own living room.

The common area on the lower floor is about 170 sq.m. and includes a professionally equipped kitchen, a living/dining room, a cozy corner in which to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and a comfortable room for reading or watching TV. There's also a toilet, and a fully equipped laundry and ironing room.

Outside there's a barbecue and a wooden gazebo in which to take your meals while enjoying the serenity and beauty of nature. Guests who rent the Villa will have at their disposal the surrounding green space, the garden, 18 hectares of farmland and the pool.

The pool is 6 x 12 m and is located in the most scenic part of the property, completely surrounded by fields and centuries-old trees. There's also a hot water shower and a covered area in which to relax.

Il Girasole

Through a separate entrance from the balcony with a panoramic view, one enters a small loggia that's been transformed into a veranda living room. Two entire walls have been replaced by windows to offer uninterrupted views over the valley and adjacent oak-wood forest. You will probably find it hard to leave this area because views don't get much better anywhere else.

Il Girasole has it's own kitchen equipped with hotplates, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave oven, in other words, everything you may need to prepare a quick snack or morning coffee in total privacy.

There are two double rooms with a bathroom. The warm tones of the walls offer a refined sense of intimacy. One of the rooms can be made into a twin. This section of the villa has 65 sq. m. and is equipped with TV and telephone.

La Ginestra

The jewel of the villa: a spacious double bedroom that faces an oak-wood forest and has an entire wall of windows. There's a sitting area and a bathroom with shower.

Facilities include Satellite TV, telephone, refrigerator and a kettle for making hot beverages. The room has 36 sq m. and is accessed through a separate entrance.

Il Querciolo

This suite comprises of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. The living room has a kitchenette (burners, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher), and a dining area.

The combination of authentic period furnishings and the warm colour of the walls creates a charming atmosphere. Cool and shady in the summer, warm and cozy during the long winter nights.

The suite stretches over 63 sq. m., has a TV and telephone and is accessible via a separate entrance.

Le Pannocchie

This suite consists of two double rooms with bathroom and a living room with a view of the valley. Furnished with period furniture, wrought iron beds, a warm oak floor and terra cotta ceiling with exposed wooden beams, it provides all the charm of a bygone era without sacrificing modern comforts. The suite stretches over 40 sq. m., has Satellite TV, telephone, refrigerator and kettle for making hot beverages and is accessible via a separate entrance.
