Sant' Antonio, a 800 years old Franciscan Monastery, is surrounded by 4 hectares of gardens on different levels, olives groves, forest and spacious terra cotta terraces offering privacy and wonderful views of the Valdichiana Valley and Lake Trasimeno on one side of the property and the famous rolling hills of Tuscany on the other.
The private entrance leads directly into a spacious lounge with an open fireplace, twin sofa chairs, satellite TV and dining area with an oak wood kitchen. The dining area is furnished with a wooden dining table and chairs that accommodates 6.
There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed that has an orthopaedic mattress and en suite bathroom that consists of a shower, toilet, bidet and sink.
Next to the bedroom is the second smaller room which is mainly used as an afternoon reading room to sit back and relax in a Roman style chaise long that has a similar dimension as a single bed - thus a small bedroom for one person. Next to the bedroom you have a similar bathroom as the latter.
At the entrance of the apartment is an open barbeque site for outdoor cooking and placed to one side of the apartment and above the barbeque is a large terracotta tiles open terrace with magnificent views of the Val di Chiana Valley with Lake Trasimeno in the distance.
The terrace is furnished garden dining tables and chairs for morning breakfast or to dine under the Tuscan stars.
Guests have access to a large swimming pool, covered parking and computers with Internet access on the property. There is no phone inside the apartments. Please read the descripion of the resort below for further details on all facilities.
