Spacious 2-bedroom Holiday Home in a very quiet location near a beach in Western Peloponnese

The Ephyra Cottage is one of three holiday homes just 600 m from a long sandy beach, positioned in Western Peloponnese, in a very quiet location near Kastro village, Kyllini peninsula, 310km from Athens. It has two levels, the ground-floor and the first floor.

The ground-floor consists of a sitting/dining area with a fully equipped open plan kitchen, comfortably furnished with built-in sofas, cozy fireplace, natural stone tiles laid in the byzantine design and a dining table seating up to six guests, which can be transferred and kept outside on any of the verandas for outdoor dining and/or as a working desk.

The ground-floor opens to natural stone tiled verandas, partially covered by a reed-shaded pergola partially uncovered for unlimited sunbathing in the privacy of the house. They are equipped with veranda coffee table and chairs, one hammock and two sun bathing beds. All verandas and balconies offer spectacular views.

The upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have high wooden ceilings. The twin bedded room has a small balcony facing west. A bathroom rounds up the upper floor.

Clever orientation allows the verandas and balconies to be used all day. Each cottage has an undisturbed view of the olive groves, farmland and sea. In the distance, one can see the islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia.

Within the gardens, near the stairs leading to the houses, two cold water taps with outdoor showers in stone basins are available to wash off salt and sand when returning from the beach or for a quick refreshing shower after sunbathing on the verandas. Another cold water tap is found at the veranda near the entrance of the cottage.
